Where do all the lines go? (About the artist)
Being creative has always played an important role in my life and I feel always will. From an early age I developed a captive interest in art and design, this guiding me towards a creative career.
Since graduating from university with a degree in Graphic Design in the late 90's I followed this interest and feel fortunate to have worked as a Graphic Designer, Design Manager and Creative Artworker.
My passion is drawing, always with a set of soft graphite pencils in arms reach. I have tried other ways, however I can't reproduce the accuracy I can achieve from a sharp 3B pencil. I have developed and tried many drawing techniques, over many years, however recently I have used technology to assist my creativity. Being a graphic designer for many years has developed my skills in photo and art editing software and I use this to combine and overlay separately drawn images. This 'Collage Drawing' enables me to create and tessellate my images, in a way I could never achieve.
Within this web site you can find out about my artwork, inspirations, questions and discoveries. Through the 'Artwork Development' section you can see how each artwork collection was created and learn about each perspective structure used to develop each piece. The 'Artwork Portfolio' section documents each artwork collection and includes detailed close-up images. Contained within the 'Print Portfolio' section are artwork collections which are available to purchase as high-quality reproduction prints. Finally, within the 'Gallery' section you can view and learn about my favourite piece of artwork from all my collections.
